{"id":8,"date":"2023-07-26T02:17:39","date_gmt":"2023-07-26T02:17:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/papalechef.ca\/?p=8"},"modified":"2023-07-26T02:17:40","modified_gmt":"2023-07-26T02:17:40","slug":"hamburgers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/papalechef.ca\/index.php\/2023\/07\/26\/hamburgers\/","title":{"rendered":"Hamburgers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Makes about 6-8 burgers depending on size<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>700-800 g of quality ground beef (better from a local farmer, but if not from a local butcher)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6 slices of bacon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 shallot or handful of chives<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 garlic cloves<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 large egg<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/2 cup of breadcrumbs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soya Sauce (to taste)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dried basic, bouquet garni, cumin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chili powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chop up the bacon and shallot|chives, and add to the ground beed in a metal bowl.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mince or microplane the garlic and add to the metal bowl<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crack open the egg into the metal bowl<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the breadcrumbs and spices to the metal bowl<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix with hands. Yes, it does make it taste better!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return the bowl into the fridge for at least 30-60 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove from fridge and form the burgers in the size that your family loves! [I prefer the slider size]<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put the burgers on a place and return to the fridge for at least 60 minutes, no cover, let them dry out a bit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cook on the BBQ.
