Hamburgers

Makes about 6-8 burgers depending on size

700-800 g of quality ground beef (better from a local farmer, but if not from a local butcher)

6 slices of bacon

1 shallot or handful of chives

2 garlic cloves

1 large egg

1/2 cup of breadcrumbs

Soya Sauce (to taste)

Dried basic, bouquet garni, cumin.

Chili powder

  1. Chop up the bacon and shallot|chives, and add to the ground beed in a metal bowl.
  2. Mince or microplane the garlic and add to the metal bowl
  3. Crack open the egg into the metal bowl
  4. Add the breadcrumbs and spices to the metal bowl
  5. Mix with hands. Yes, it does make it taste better!
  6. Return the bowl into the fridge for at least 30-60 minutes.
  7. Remove from fridge and form the burgers in the size that your family loves! [I prefer the slider size]
  8. Put the burgers on a place and return to the fridge for at least 60 minutes, no cover, let them dry out a bit.
  9. Cook on the BBQ. Get it to 145-150F at least in the middle.

Enjoy with a nice brioche bun, lettuce wrap, whatever you want to put it in and all of your favorite toppings.
